What a day for USD – Allan Beaulieu Inline Parkour edit.

In his Blackberry Chronicles, Rob G mentionned a quote by Jim Jarmusch that states: « Nothing is original. Steal from everywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuel your imagination ». While many try their hardest to remain pure and keep their skating “fresh”, Allan Beaulieu has listened to this wise advice and taken his own skills to a whole new level.

Although he had been initiated to Parkour a long time ago, Allan has really gotten into it last year, back in 2009. Now, both Blading and Parkour nourish one another, and Allan has evolved into something that is truly unique, something that is truly his own.

Filmed over the course of two months with a Canon 5D, all over France & Europe, and edited by François Detwiller and Allan himself, we now present to you this great edit. Whether you like it or not, I doubt Allan actually cares what you think about him, his skating or his skewed interpretation of working deadlines. However, he’d like to thank his sponsors : Arcena, New Era & The Conference.

Jim Jarmusch, one of my favorite videographers, concluded with another quote by Jean-Luc Godard. Who also happens to be on my “favorite movie makers” list: « It’s not where you take things from – it’s where you take them to ». Well, it sounds like the perfect conclusion to this article to me !

USD South America Tour ROCK Part 4 of 4. Brazil

In February 2010 USD embarked on a 4 country tour through South America with Billy O’neill, Demetrios George, and Jero. This 4 part ROCK series is a fast paced re-cap of each country, giving you a taste of tour life. Our 4th and final stop is in Brazil.

After several weeks and 3 countries, we miraculously caught our flight to Brazil for the last leg of the tour, and finally linked up with Brazilian legend Carlos Pianowski. The beauty of the county was overwhelming, and hundreds of people showed up for the skate park sessions and autograph opportunities at Rolling Sports inline shop. We trekked through the jungles and went cliff jumping at epic beaches. Huge thanks to JP and Rolling Sports inline shop for the hospitality and good times.

In celebration of Nick’s Pro Classic Throne launch, i’ve released his profile we made from the 2006-2009 production ‘LINE’ during his boom into the spot light.

Nick has impressed everyone with his level of competition skating from winning IMYTA before anyone knew his name, to his technical ability, solid style and attitude on street. Sure to keep going places with his skating, this was Nick’s first video section release of hopefully many more to come.

New Nick Lomax full setup classic Throne released on the 12th August, 2010. Get your orders made sharpish like.
