Winter Wonderland Tour – Jeff Stockwell and Worapoj Boonnim “Note” in Barcelona, Day 2.

“The rain in Spain falls mainly…well everywhere” Rain, rain, rain. We sat staring out of the window hoping for a breach in the clouds. Woorapoj, wrapped in a sheet and huddled close to the heater wondered if this weather was real, “You guys really skate in cold weather like this?”

Jeff shook his head and stared at the floor. All these Barcelona spots waiting for us, taunting us through the drizzle rarely associated with the city known as the European California.

Just as our final hopes began to die away, the rain stopped. We anxiously waited by the window, watching the street tiles dry, one by one almost. This was going to take forever. Screw it, we’re going out there and we don’t care how wet it is.

2 hours later the rain had started up again, but riders and media alike had battled the wet and handled busines.

Thanks also to Tony and Inercia for a little edit they put together of Jeff during our little stop at their store yesterday. This is Jeff warming up as we were putting on our skates, and before Woorapoj had finished putting his skates on it had already begun to rain. Thats how fast it is to put your Xsjado’s on!!
